Q: How much is the monthly school fee?
A: The monthly fees are as follows: Pre-Kindergarten - $345.00; Kindergarten through 8th Grade - $330.00; High School - $345.00.
Q: Is there a discount if you have more than one child?
A: Yes, there is a discount for each additional child.
Q: Do you provide transportation?
A: Yes, we have our own school buses and also Department of Pupil Transportation buses.
Q: How much is transportation?
A: The cost for AIA's bus, is $100.00 per month per student. If your child is eligible for the bus service provided by the Department of Pupil Transportation, it is free of charge.
Q: How far does your bus go?
A: We bus children to and from the following areas: Richmond Hill, South Ozone Park, Woodhaven, Queens Village and Brooklyn.
Q: What are are the Grade levels in your school?
A: The school offers Pre-Kindergarten through 12th Grade.
Q: How large are your classes?
A: The average class size is 20 students.
Q: Does your school offer breakfast and lunch?
A: Yes, the school offers Halal breakfast and lunch. The meals are prepared on site daily.
Q: Is Arabic taught as a Language in the school?
A: Yes, Arabic is taught as a Language. Inshaa Allah, 12th Graders will be taking the Arabic Regents.
Q: From what age do you accept students into Pre-Kindergarten?
A: The child must be 4 years old by August of that school year and he/she must be potty trained.
Q: How soon would the child be accepted after the application is filed?
A: AIA has a waiting list for many grades. However, the list for Pre-Kindergarten through 2nd Grade is longer, so it is better to file the application as soon as possible.
Q: How do I know when my child will be accepted?
A: Students are accepted on a first come first serve basis. When space becomes available, the next application is processed and the parents are contacted by the school to come in for registration.
Q: How much is registration?
A: There is a ONE TIME ONLY Registration fee of $25.00.
Q: Is there a Supplies Fee?
A: Yes, there is a Supplies Fee of $75.00 per year per student.
